Spring 2024 Women’s Bible Study

Navigating Gospel Truth by Rebecca McLoughlin

This semester, our in-depth study of the Word will look a little different. Instead of studying one book, verse-by-verse, all the way through, we will look at the gospels through the lens of a theme each week. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John tell the story of Jesus’ life, death, resurrection and ascension. Perhaps you’ve encountered someone who has wondered if these accounts are true or if they are filled with a bunch of stories. Or maybe you’ve had some questions as well. Can we trust these gospel accounts as true and accurate? Our eternal future depends upon it! Join us this semester as we look at genre themes like parable, narrative, poetry and more, and gain skills to help someone  understand the answers to their questions, and help us better navigate and study all of scripture!

Study format:

• Daily Personal study to complete between group sessions (7 weeks of homework)
• Large-group teaching
• Small group discussion
• 1 fellowship week with your small group

When: Tuesdays (6:30-8:15 PM) February 13-April 16 (No study 3/26)

Where: New Covenant Bible Church, Sanctuary (childcare not available)

Cost: $25 (paid during registration), which includes study guide and video permissions 

Material Pickup: Materials can be picked up February 4 after services or at the first session.
