Fall 2024 Women’s Bible Study
As For Me: Life Through the Lens of the Psalms
Are you weary? Burdened? Hurting from within? Overwhelmed? Jesus calls us to come to him with everything that’s weighing on our hearts–in every circumstance; in every season of the soul.
All women are invited to join us for a 9-week study through the Psalms as we begin to explore our theme of "Be still." Filled with songs of praise, cries of lament and everything in between, the Psalms give us a way to capture the emotions and troubles of life. This is a book filled with constant reminders of God’s character that we can cling to when we face life’s troubles in this broken world. The psalmist gives the words to speak our troubles to God, but then models for us what it looks like to gaze at God and glance at our circumstances by remembering who God says he is! The Psalmist clings to one resounding message, “As for me…I will worship and serve the Lord, no matter what!”
If you are new to studying the Bible or have familiarity with the Scriptures, you will gain a deeper understanding of who God is and what our response looks like to cling to Him no matter what!
